The Shimano K03S brake pads are made of synthetic resin on a steel backing plate. They are compatible with Shimano BR-R9170, BR-R8070 and other flat mount brakes. In addition to their excellent modulation properties and low noise level, they also impress with their wear resistance. This was increased with the K03S pads by up to 40 % compared to the K02S model.
